Dear Faculty and Staff,
In order to keep you informed, we are notifying you regarding a student who was found in possession of two knives in a backpack this morning on campus. The student is being held accountable according to the code of conduct and the law.
Safety of students and staff is a top priority, and we take incidents such as these very seriously and will investigate fully. Parents, please speak with your student about items that are not appropriate for school and the serious consequences that will follow. Suspicious activity should be reported immediately to a teacher, administrator or the Columbia County School District Police. If you see something, say something. Working together we can continue to provide a safe, positive environment for students and staff.
